
It is a check Companies House does annually to ensure the information they have for your company is correct. All companies must file confirmation statement. It requires you to confirm the registered office, directors, secretary, and the address where you keep the records. You statement of capital and shareholder informations. Your SIC Code (the number that identifies what your company does), & finally confirmation of your register of people with significant control. At Taxfile we can file your Confirmation Statement and any changes that need to be made to it. You should know that you can make changes about capital, shareholders, & SIC codes. Any other changes, such as; company office address, registered office, where records are kept, &/or people with significant control, you must file those changes separately with Companies House.
Your confirmation statement must be filed annually and the ‘confirmation date’ falls on the anniversary of the company formation & must be filed within 14-days of this date to Companies House.
